Approved exporter

What is it?

An approved exporter is authorised to issue the origin declarations for the ECOWAS-originating products it exports, in accordance with Regulation C/REG.17/12/21 on procedures for the certification and recognition of origin of products.

How does it work?

   Create your account

   One account per company, with a valid e-mail address.

   Fill in the form

   Identity, products, input materials and commitments: save as a draft at any time.

   Submit the application

   You receive an e-mail confirmation with your application reference.

   Review by the administration

   The administration may ask for additional information; you reply from your area.

5. 5
   Decision

   If approved, an authorisation number is assigned and the authorisation can be printed.

Information to prepare

• Trade registration number and registered office
• List of products intended for export
• 10-digit ECOWAS tariff classification and origin criterion of each product
• Input materials: classification, value and origin
• Contact person details
